“Thank you again for your incredible work and partnership on this one.”

The client came with a sharp idea and a hard constraint: three hours of Cal's time. Everything after that was our job: look, boards, location, crew, the shoot day, post, and every format.
“Cal Raleigh is a Gold Glove and Platinum Glove-winning catcher. His mitt is iconic. Cal attempts everyday tasks with his catcher's mitt on and hilariously fails. Cracking an egg? Disaster. Tying his shoes? Impossible. But when it comes to setting up eero? He does it flawlessly, glove and all. Because it's that easy.”
We had three hours with Cal, so testing each gag visually decided what to shoot and where. Once the location was locked, I storyboarded every setup with AI from photos of the space, which made the plan easy to communicate to the team, the talent, and the client. The client left notes right on each frame, so by shoot day the edit already existed as pictures.

The spot pays off on one screen: Cal sets up eero with the mitt on and it just works. That needs a phone that does the right thing on cue, every take, and the real app has its own ideas about timing. So we took eero's own screen recordings of the app, opened Claude Code, and built our own. Same look, and it works like the real app: Cal taps through it, the wifi is pre-filled, and a hidden button on the success screen takes it back for the next take. Runs offline, so the house wifi could die and the take would not.

Deadpan comedy needs coverage, and coverage takes time we didn't have. So speed was engineered in prep: every room pre-lit, every angle pre-set, Tyran standing in to prove each frame before Cal arrived. Quality wasn't traded for pace, it was planned into it. Two and a half hours of shooting, no reshoots, nothing skipped.
This was a social-first piece, built for Cal's Instagram. It has 185K plays on Instagram as of September 27, 2026, and eero expanded it: reframed wide, with a fixed add-to-cart box, for paid placements, and it is now running as a Meta ad. One shoot carried it everywhere.
Every project scopes to its budget. I run everything from lean solo shooter builds to full crew productions, and the process stays the same.
